Nick Pollock

Nick Pollock is a pianist and composer based in Sydney. Since he was a child, he was always fascinated by the ability of music to make people feel emotion. To him, music was more exciting than all of the magical spells and supernatural powers he saw in films and read in novels. From an early age, he started asking his mother to take him to learn piano. His dream was to be able to make someone feel the emotions that he felt when listening to music. When he was 16, he became obsessed with classical music, especially the music of Chopin, Liszt, Ravel, Debussy and Rachmaninoff. He started lessons again with a classical teacher and then completed a Bachelor of Music (Classical Piano Major) after finishing high school. Since then he has slowly worked to increase his repertoire with around 130 songs/pieces from a variety of genres memorised, and he has also composed many works for piano and is constantly improvising new music. Nick has a piano residency at two Sydney restaurants and also at David Jones. He also frequently upload music to Youtube and have over 2 million views.
