MaryAnne ‘Mac’ McCormack is one of Melbourne’s most in-demand female vocalists. She is lead vocalist of The Mac Project Band and is also a renowned vocal, acting & creative coach to artists and a voice & communications coach to women in business. Mac is a graduate of the prestigious National Institute of Dramatic Art (NIDA) and has established a successful acting, singing and coaching career both in Australia and OS. She worked successfully for a number of years as an Actor in Television, Theatre, Music Theatre and has been nominated for some of the country’s top Theatre & Writing Awards (multiple Helpmann & Greenroom Award Nominee) and was approached by Freemantle Media to be part of the 2014 X-factor series. Mac performs in a variety of styles, genres and line-ups and has a natural flair for all things jazz, rnb, pop-soul. Mac has performed on some of the biggest stages in the world and now based in her hometown Melbourne, she performs at high-profile corporate events including the Australian Open and Spring Racing Carnival, as well as weddings and private functions both locally and interstate.
